Shangri-La Qingdao - May Fourth Square

Extraordinary experience during our stay at Shangri-La in Qingdao!. A hotel with such high standards in every aspect is rare to find nowadays, especially after Corona crisis, when many hotels seem having reduced their service and attention levels dramatically! Here it was like being back in the "good old times" of five star hotels with super friendly staff and very good and helpful service! Fantastic breakfast buffet for any kind of taste - european, chinese, korean, japanese. Very clean rooms and good restaurants. Shopping Mall and subway station just across the street.

The hotel location was great as it was next to premium shopping complex. The room was clean and the towels was in good condition and very clean too. The service and friendliness of the hotel staff was awesome and outstanding. I was impressed with Ms Anny Zhang (Front Office Manager) helpfulness and service. She even help to pay for my airport taxi fare as my Alipay got some problem when I arrived airport. It will be my only hotel I will stay when I visited Qingdao again. Thank you Anny.

The hotel room was well appointed, I especially loved soaking in the bath after a day of exploring. The breakfast provided a good variety of foods. The staff were friendly and helpful and most spoke English. The hotel was located very close to the metro train station. It is also close to a major shopping centre (MixC).

As always, we were greeted warmly and personally by Keta and the prepared room was, as always, to our complete satisfaction. The extra service in the Executive Lounge was excellent and made our stay even more comfortable. See you next time. Thanks for everything to Kenta and his team 👍🏻

The location within a shopping center quarter is very convenient. the breakfast includes a big choice of Chinese and European cuisine. the quality and taste of all foods were exceptional.
